This photo galley is dedicated to the beautiful things you'll find in the area around Utrecht (Utrechts Landschap), including plants, animals and structures.
An interesting place, is the former Soesterberg airbase which is a publicly accessible park (Park Vliegbasis Soesterberg). Apart from the amazing military museum (Nationaal Militair Museum) that can be found in the center of the park, it's great walking through the nature there. During the hikes, you'll get past former military buildings, aircraft shelters and during parts of the year (roughly between mid-August and mid-March you can walk or cycle across the landing strip.
Other nice places to discover in the area of Utrecht are the Panbos and the Zeisterbos that provide plenty of photo opportunities.
